About the role
Entermotion builds software that real people depend on every day to do their jobs. Our flagship product, Atlas EMR, is a Direct Primary Care platform used by clinics for scheduling, messaging, clinical notes, billing, and patient apps. We also build across education platforms and interactive entertainment.
We are a small dispersed team that ships a lot, preferring builders over specialists who can move across the full design stack from wireframe to pixel. Design at Entermotion is not a handoff stage; it is integrated into product thinking, engineering collaboration, and the product's voice.
As a Product Designer, you are accountable for outcomes, working closely with the Product Lead and engineers to define problems and ship solutions. Our team works with LLMs like Claude in the daily flow, and we expect designers to shape their process using modern tools while maintaining mature applications.
What you'll do
- Own product design work end to end from early exploration through launch and iteration.
- Design across web apps, native mobile (iOS and Android), embeddable widgets, and user portals.
- Help maintain and evolve Figma libraries, components, autolayout, and variables.
- Prototype closer to code using tooling that reaches testable artifacts fastest.
- Communicate clearly through feature decks, recorded walkthroughs, written specs, and Figma comments.
- Review builds with engineering to flag drift and maintain fidelity.
- Manage own priorities across multiple product areas and shifting pieces.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years designing product, ideally in SaaS or application-heavy environments
- Fluent in Figma: components, autolayout, variables, prototyping, dev mode
- Comfortable with both rough flow mapping and pixel-level UI
- Strong product instinct to validate feature direction early
- Experience designing for data-dense desktop web and native mobile
- Working understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and complex application patterns
- Ability to conduct product research, user talks, and usability tests
- Strong async writing skills for text-based design reviews
- Self-directed and able to ship without close supervision
Nice to have
- Strong typography skills including pairing, scale, rhythm, and hierarchy
- Confident with color, grid, and layout across breakpoints and devices
- Sharp instinct for visual hierarchy
- Comfortable with iconography and illustration
- Taste-aware with the ability to explain why design elements work or fail
- Systems-minded with a preference for clean documented structure
