About the role

Supabase is the open-source Postgres development platform that 10M+ developers and thousands of enterprises depend on every day. Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime and Vector Search all run on one platform using the same compute, disks, network, and control plane across every region.

You will own the platform primitives every Supabase product runs on: compute, disks, networking, the API gateway, capacity and regions. You will also manage enterprise surfaces including read replicas, custom domains, PrivateLink, and Bring Your Own Cloud.

As the first product person in this area, you will report to the Head of Product and set direction for the platform while growing the team under you as the area expands.

What you'll do

Talk to customers across the full spectrum from individual developers to enterprise partners.
Own the problem statement and requirements behind every platform bet, defining what is built and why.
Decide what gets built, deferred, or cut each quarter to balance enterprise unlocks with performance wins.
Own reliability as a product surface by setting and holding teams to service levels.
Define measurement metrics and thresholds for each launch to track impact on deal velocity and economics.
Keep engineering, design, and leadership aligned by writing down roadmaps and surfacing dependencies.

What they're looking for

8+ years of product management experience on developer tools or ex-founder experience in the space.
Experience shipping cloud infrastructure such as compute, networking, storage, or multi-tenant systems.
Proven track record of growing with an infrastructure product from small scale to complex global constraints.
Bias toward speed and preference for shipping imperfectly to learn faster.
Ability to develop product opinions through first-hand use and testing of the platform.
Experience using AI to accelerate research, drafting, and synthesis.
Ability to work asynchronously by default in a fully remote environment.

Nice to have

Familiarity with how enterprises buy infrastructure (PrivateLink, BYOC, procurement).
