About the role
Postscript is the AI messaging platform trusted by 20,000+ Shopify brands, including Brooklinen, Ruggable, and True Classic. Backed by Greylock and Y Combinator, the company has been fully remote since 2018 with a mission to make SMS the primary revenue-driving channel for merchants.
As Head of Growth Marketing, you will own every way merchants discover and evaluate Postscript, managing paid channels, the website, distribution, and community. You will run growth as a fast, quantitatively rigorous, and AI-native experimentation engine, building tools and interactive experiences rather than just running campaigns.
What you'll do
- Own the pipeline target with sales and marketing leadership and build the machine to hit it.
- Direct strategy, budget, and creative testing for all paid channels including Meta, Google, and LinkedIn.
- Manage Postscript.io as a product, focusing on conversion, testing, and new experiences.
- Oversee distribution across email, SMS, community, partners, and experiential channels.
- Conceive, build, and ship AI-powered software experiences as marketing tools.
- Maintain a high experiment velocity measured in experiments per week with clean measurement.
- Lead and grow a team across growth, lifecycle, creative, and experiential.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years leading teams in marketing, growth, or engineering, or as a founder.
- Deep performance marketing and paid media experience at scale.
- Quantitative fluency with the ability to perform your own analysis on attribution and incrementality.
- AI-native proficiency, including daily use of AI tools to build and ship products.
- Proven track record of high-velocity experimentation that moves pipeline or revenue.
- A builder's bias for action and strong creative instincts.
Nice to have
- Engineering, technical, or founder background.
- Ecommerce, DTC, or martech experience on either the brand or vendor side.
- GTM engineering experience with tools like Clay, n8n, or Zapier.
- Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce.

The hot takeJeff's read on Postscript
Likes: Their 4.2 Glassdoor score is relatively strong for companies with more than ten reviews. They have a clear perks & benefits section. They were shared on the Forbes Best Startup Employers List. They have solid testimonials.
Dislikes: The first few folds is about who THEY are and what they expect YOU to be. Companies really should start the same way you would by selling a prospect: target audience first, you second.
