79 Work-from-anywhere jobs hiring now for the week of October 1, 2025
⏱ 18 mins read
Hey guess what? It’s been exactly ONE YEAR since I started creating these weekly remote job newsletters. Look how different they used to be. They also take about 20x the amount of work 🤣
What do you thin better or worse? Leave a comment!
Now, I usually save podcast stuff for last, but I’ve been seeing posts in my feed that really, REALLY set me off. The latest big talk is about the “996 work schedule”, which means 9am to 9pm, six days per week (of work).
It’s the final boss of hustle culture.
To her credit (and likely due to commenters giving pushback), the person who posted this has edited and walked back her “grindset mindset” rhetoric. And that’s good, because this schedule will literally kill you.
Not immediately, of course. But the chickens always come home to roost. Research shows that working more than 48 hours pers week can shorten your lifespan by NINE YEARS. Nine! Every additional hour above 48 per week shaves off 2.25 years.
You can tell me “I love working long hours!” until you’re blue in the face! Your body disagrees with you. Your risk for stroke and heart disease WILL increase with your added hours. Not to mention, do you really think you’ll look back on your life when you’re retirement aged and think “thank god I worked 72 hours a week instead of seeing the world and spending time with my family!”
Not a chance.
These job applications currently exist out in the wild. Be wary of wording like this:
So, you can rest assured none of the companies I share on a weekly basis will have this language in their job posts. These are good, legit companies.
Speaking of which, for my one year anniversary of posting these newsletters, I have a record 79 jobs to share with you this week! (I had 80, but the position got filled).
Have at it, I hope to hear from you working remote in the near future.
Zapier
🌶️ Hot take
Before we even get into the working conditions for employees, as a product, we use Zapier for EVERYTHING. Zapier’s automations literally make our business function. The tools you can integrate and automate is absolutely WILD. In terms of working for Zapier, they check every box. Check out their Total Rewards page on benefits and perks for employees.
Also, they have a wildly self-aware Next Play Program. Here’s what it’s about:
We’re true partners in hiring, retaining, and growing our talent. Through our Next Play Program, we support all Zapier teammates and alumni in landing their next big role—internally or externally. We equip teammates with growth plans, an internal job board, defined career pathways, and personalized support.
They will help you find your next role. That’s unbelievably confident and secure, especially when every other company out there wants you to pretend that you’re never going to leave the company, like you’re working for a Ford production plant in the 60s.
Also, check out their entire resource guide on how to manage remote work.
Here’s some other perks & bennies I like:
🏝️ Flex PTO: “Flexible time-off policy (most teammates take 4-6 weeks off per year for vacation and holidays)”
✈️ Company Retreats: “1 annual company retreat to an awesome place”
👩🏽🍼 Parental Leave: “14 weeks of 100% fully paid leave for new parents”
💪🏽 Wellness Budget: “Annual Live Well budget (Lifestyle Spending Account) (for wellness, travel, meals, entertainment, and other activities that help you live a fulfilled life!)”
🔌 Tech Budget: “Once-off New Hire Office Setup budget (for a desk, chair, screen, and other peripherals to set you up to do your best work!)”
🔎 What they do

🏝️ Remote work policies
Work from almost anywhere. Company statement: “Due to regulatory and security reasons, there’s a small number of countries where we cannot have Zapier teammates based. Additionally, because Zapier is an all-remote company and people can join our workforce from almost any country, we do not sponsor visas.”

Ethena – New Company Alert
🌶️ Hot take
I absolutely love Ethena’s careers page – it feels relatable, conversational, and HUMAN. Most careers pages go wrong by forgetting that the company is comprised of humans, and you’re supposed to be talking to other humans.
“Humor is human. We spend a third of our days at work. That time shouldn’t be miserable. Tell a joke in a meeting, send that funny gif. We take our work seriously, not ourselves.”
They have a great Glassdoor score (4.7), and a big transparent list of perks and benefits, including:
🏥 Medical: “Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available for both US and CAN employees”
👩🏽🍼 Parental Leave: “We treat our parents equally. Whether you’re a birthing or non-birthing parent, we provide 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all our parents. Eligibility begins after 12 months of employment.”
🔌 Tech Stipend: “In addition to our company-provided laptop, monitor, and keyboard, we reimburse up to $500 USD/$750 CAD so that you can set up the most tricked out (okay, the most reasonably comfortable) at-home work station.”
🏝️ Unlimited PTO: “In addition to closing shop for all federal holidays and our end-of-year (week-long — uh-huh, you read that right) break, we provide unlimited PTO.”
🔎 What they do

Superside
🌶️ Hot take
If I see another company that has more than 90% of its career page content that talks about the company mission rather than prospective employees, I’m flat out dropping them from our database. Listen, do THIS:
Why does that work? Because they are prioritizing outcomes rather than worthless things like location, looking “busy”, and keeping employees happy. Say it with me: Offices don’t generate more revenue, it makes old schoolers happy because they have no idea how a business is meant to operate.
🔎 What they do
Superside is the go-to AI-powered creative service. It’s like having an extension of your in-house team, delivering lightning-fast, scalable, top-notch design and creative solutions. They’ve worked with over 450 globally renowned companies like Amazon, Meta, Salesforce, and Shopify since 2015. The secret sauce? They combine the top 1% of creatives worldwide with generative AI, giving them the power to offer on-demand creative services perfectly tailored to the needs of enterprise businesses and emerging industry leaders.

Buffer
🌶️ Hot take
I rarely get to share Buffer hot takes because they don’t hire often, but they are this week, and I’m pumped to talk about them.
Frankly, I don’t think I’ve ever a company offer more perks than Buffer does in the five years I’ve been working on this project. Check out all this awesome stuff:
And, they are perfectly clear about their remote work policy:
“Buffer is a fully remote team, spread across the whole planet. We have teammates in 22 countries, 51 cities, and 11 timezones (and counting!). As a member of our team, you will be invited to work wherever you’re happiest and most productive.”
Finally, I LOVE their perspective on reflection and time away from work to unblock your creative thinking:

✈️ 35 days PTO: Paid time away: all employees are given 35 days of PTO annually. We also offer a paid sabbatical after 5 years.

Adapty.io
🌶️ Hot take
Can I get a quick amen from the back of the room for this statement?
Can we not just implement this way of thinking across every C-suite exec across all of business? It’s. So. Obvious. Thank you, Adapty, you make me happy and you make this newsletter easy to write. You keep doing you. Make sure to take a look at their memo on what work life looks like at Adapty. I particularly like this quote from the company:
“We’re a remote-first company and embrace global hiring without any geographical restrictions. Our employees can work from anywhere and have the flexibility to move around the world while working with us. Our work environment is asynchronous, allowing team members to maintain a healthy work-life balance.”
But also try to get me a few more Glassdoor reviews so that I can give you a peer score! I’d also love to see a list of the perks you offer employees.

🌶️ Hot take
Check out this line from their company culture page.
“Krakenites are focused on outcomes, which is why we value skill and knowledge above credentials and presentation. It’s why we work remotely in pajamas rather than from offices in suits. We may look like a motley crew of misfits but we run a tight ship and get a lot done. Of course, we keep a few business costumes in the trunk for special occasions.”
Hell, yes. That…that is how you manage employees effectively. Not because we want to work in pajamas, but because they care about outcomes, and they realize that comfortable employees generate the most outcomes.
💰 Geo-neutral pay: “Competitive salary, regardless of where you decide to work.” In other words, they aren’t going to pay you 1/8th what you’re worth because you live in Colombia.
🌍 Hire-from-anywhere: “Kraken will hire prospective employees from any country.”

Halcyon – Hot new Company!
🌶️ Hot take
It’s another interesting recommendation from a loyal reader, thank you! Halcyon does a pretty decent job across most of the major categories I look for. They have a respectable 3.8 Glassdoor score (but always take these with a grain of salt). They have a transparent remote work policy, but I would like to see more about their stance on traveling while working:
“As a remote first company, and completely distributed team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we will do our best to create a plan that meets everyone’s needs.”
They have the standard health & wellness benefits, unlimited PTO, and parental leave. If you are a rep from Halcyon, please contact me so that I can put together a more comprehensive review of your company.
🔎 What they do
Halcyon builds a cybersecurity platform that is specifically designed to detect, disrupt, and recover from ransomware attacks, working alongside existing security tools. They also operate a Ransomware Research Center, which studies threat actors and shares intelligence to help organizations defend against extortion and data encryption risks.
📊 AtlasScore©:
Halcyon has not yet been reviewed for inclusion in the Anywhere Atlas

Invisible Technologies
🌶️ Hot take
Invisible’s Glassdoor reviews are hovering around 3.5, which raises a bit of a yellow flag for me. Again, take GD reviews with a grain of salt, and simply an indicator.
Here’s a few things I DO like quite a bit. Check out their statement about autonomy and productivity on this page. Here’s a few of their beliefs I align with:
💻 On productivity: “We believe work isn’t about where you are or how many hours you log. It’s about what you accomplish.”
🏝️ On PTO: “Time off when you need it. No red tape. We care about outcomes, not optics.”
😎 On flexible hours: “Flexible work hours. Your hours are yours. What matters is the result, not when you open your laptop.”
🔎 What they do
Invisible io excels at deconstructing large, intricate business processes into smaller components, and optimizing AI and human collaboration for improved results.
📊 AtlasScore©
Invisible gets a 76% on the Anywhere Atlas putting it in the top 20% of work-from-anywhere companies.
🏝️ Remote work policies
Work from anywhere with caveats – many roles are location-dependent. You have to filter carefully. Company statement: “Invisible is a remote-first organization and hires new team members in countries around the world. Although many of our roles are fully remote, some roles may carry specific location-based eligibility requirements. Our Talent Acquisition team can help answer any questions about location after starting the recruiting process.”

Alpaca
🌶️ Hot take
I like their clear views on the value of remote work, check out this quote from their careers page:
“Our teams are not just global, we’re also 100% remote and have team members in almost every time zone and continent (except Antarctica). By joining Alpaca you’ll be part of a multicultural, international organization.”
I also like that their Glassdoor scores are going up (now 3.7/5), and they have some solid testimonials. I’m a LITTLE wary of this statement that gives me a bit of a “hustle culture” vibe:
“We’re keen on that last 10% of effort and believe that the details do matter. If this sounds like you, then you’re in the right place.”
🔎 What they do
At Alpaca, it’s all about supporting hundreds of businesses worldwide with our developer-friendly API brokerage platform. You can trade stocks and crypto, access real-time market data, and enjoy top-notch brokerage infrastructure using our modern APIs.
📊 AtlasScore©
Alpaca gets a 67% on the Anywhere Atlas, putting them in the top 50% of fully-remote companies.

Fillout
🌶️ Hot take
Fillout is an interesting small company I just found out about. Like most small companies, there isn’t a TON to go off of, but I’ll tell you what I know:
- They don’t care where their prospective/current employees are geographically located, which leads me to believe they will hire from anywhere and let you work from anywhere (though I would love some clarification from the company).
- There aren’t enough Glassdoor reviews to score in our database.
- There are almost no perks/benefits published on job listings or their careers page, so I’d love to learn more about them from the company.
- I would love more information about whether or not they allow traveling while working. I suspect they prioritize output over physical presence, but I’m not sure.
Unlike most small companies, they have a fully fleshed-out careers page. Unfortunately, they make a small mistake many companies make by talking about themselves a bit too much, and explaining why top talent should want to work for them a bit too little. It should be more employee-focused rather than company-focused.
I’ve added them to the Anywhere Atlas, though note that their 63% score is more a reflection of missing information from the company rather than legitimate low marks. All we need is more data, baby.
✔︎ Hire-from-anywhere alert! Fillout appears to hire prospective employees from anywhere.
🔎 What they do
Fillout is a sleek, no-code form builder that lets you drag‑and‑drop your way to polished forms, surveys, quizzes, and even automated workflows—all in just a few minutes, without touching any code . It also packs in AI‑powered design tools, logic rules, PDF generation, payments, and integrations with apps like Airtable, Notion, and Zapier—making data collection feel smooth, smart, and branded
📊 AtlasScore©
Fillout gets an 63% on the Anywhere Atlas, putting them in the top 50% of all work-from-anywhere companies in the world.
🏝️ Remote work policies

SparkLoop
🌶️ Hot take
Don’t read too much into the low score – we find that most small companies have extremely sparse careers pages and employee reviews. So we don’t know what we don’t know, and SparkLoop is a good example of this. That said, it’s an area small companies SHOULD invest a little more heavily in.
One of the positive tradeoffs with working with such small companies is that they’re usually WAY more flexible with most things. I can’t confirm that SparkLoop is – this is just a generalization.
🔎 What they do
SparkLoop is the #1 platform for partnering with the world’s best newsletters for free and paid recommendations. SparkLoop helps newsletter operators unlock significant revenue and grow their quality audience base.
📊 AtlasScore©
SparkLoop gets a 49% on the Anywhere Atlas putting it in the top 80% of work-from-anywhere companies.
🏝️ Remote work policies
Fully remote. Company policy: “A fully remote team culture.”

Bobtail
Summary:
Bobtail’s careers page is SUPER sparse, but there are a coupling things I like. Their remote work policy states “Work from home (or wherever)”. They also have a Glassdoor score of 4.7. Beyond that, I really don’t know much about what they offer employees.
Job Opportunities 🔥
Check out the roles they are currently hiring for below:
👉 Fleet Card Resolution, Spanish Speaking
Decentraland
Summary:
I can find barely anything about Decentraland other than a 3.5 Glassdoor score, and some perks and benefits on job listings, which are:
- A fully remote and flexible working environment.
- A collaborative and fast-moving team culture.
- The opportunity to run full-funnel growth campaigns in one of the most experimental industries.
- 29 annual PTO.
- Long-term incentive of MANA tokens, vested over a 4-year period.
- Additional tokens linked to annual performance review.
- Stipend policy to cover remote work & wellness-related expenses.
- Brand-new equipment for remote work, including laptop, screen and chair.
- Parental leave.
- Reimbursement for English/Spanish lessons
- Annual team offsite
Their remote work policy is: “A fully remote and flexible working environment”, which isn’t quite enough for me to add to the Anywhere Atlas and officially score.
If someone from the company could reach out to me, I’d be glad to create a full review.
