About the role
Lumos is the industry's first Autonomous Identity Platform—software that doesn't just surface access risk, but acts on it. We provide critical infrastructure connecting apps, identities, and data for companies like GitHub, MongoDB, and Pinterest, centered around an AI agent for identity named Albus.
Access Reviews is one of our most widely adopted products where customers prove that the right people have the right access. As Product Manager, Access Reviews, you will move reviews from something people complete to something that largely runs itself using agents and AI.
This is a customer-facing product role with strategy and quarterly plan ownership. You'll work closely with engineering and design to expand what can be reviewed, including applications, identities, policies, and non-human identities.
What you'll do
- Own the agentic core of the product: agents that configure, scope, launch and run reviews via API and MCP.
- Make AI a trusted teammate through auto-decisioning and clear reasoning in the review experience.
- Expand review capabilities beyond applications to identity-centric reviews, policy reviews, and non-human identities.
- Own the strategy and quarterly gameplan for the product surface, making trade-offs between coverage and depth.
- Ensure products produce defensible, audit-ready evidence for compliance credibility.
- Work directly with customers, prospects, and field teams to turn feedback into product decisions.
What they're looking for
- Product management experience owning a customer-facing product with real business impact.
- Experience with compliance, audit, governance, risk workflows, or high-volume human-decision products.
- Experience shipping AI into production workflows, handling explainability and confidence metrics.
- AI-native workflow habits, using AI daily for research, prototyping, and writing specs.
- Track record of changing user behavior and moving specific product metrics.
- Strong product craft and design partnership skills.
- Comfortable presenting in front of customers and auditors.

The hot takeJeff's read on Lumos
I like A LOT about what I see from Lumos, including their 4.7 Glassdoor rating, full medical benefits, wellness stipends, and $1k annual learning and development stipends.
The only thing (in my mind) that keeps Lumos from moving into the top tier of work-from-anywhere companies is their +/- 4 hour PST timezone restriction. That covers a lot of territory, but would limit digital nomads to only travel in the Americas. It's not clear whether or not you have to be physically located within the +/- 4 hour window, or if they will let you work those hours from anywhere. 🏋🏾♀️ Health and wellness: $100 bucks a month for health and wellness spend.
👶🏾 Parental leave: Up to 4 months of it. 📚 Learning budget: $1,000 bucks a year on learning and development spend. 🌴 Unlimited PTO: But make sure you actually use it!
